Educational and Cultural buildings

One of the pleasures of architecture is to try and understand a client's program. Educational and cultural buildings ask for interpretations that are meaningful for the users and the outside world. I have been a team member in university and school planning and design, and an owner's representative in the development of a museum. In all cases there is fulfilment in designing buildings that accommodate the needs and express the aspirations of the institution promoting the project whether it be a successful and prestigious hospital or a kindergarten under siege.
